‘We saw this lovely guy wandering along a street in Mexico. Maybe he had a name but we didn’t know it and it didn’t matter. We loved that about where we lived in Mexico. It wasn’t uncommon to come out of our door and bump into a whole family of horses, just minding their own, doing their thing, free as birds… or wild horses!’
